上文提要：如果德國太麻煩不想在德結婚呢，可以以下文件辦單身証到香港結的。

就是香港女／男的去辦好，快遞給德國女／男的去Rathaus去搞咯。
搞好以後，可以寄回香港預約香港結婚日期了，基本上在結婚日期３個月１４日內就可預約了。
有一樣要注意，就是你德國男／女朋友的出生証明了。
我老公的出生証明，不是他親生父親的姓名，姓氏都不同的。
事源因為我老爺（家公）是老公親生母親的第二任丈夫，她呢在生下我老公前才跟前夫離婚。但德國法律需要一段時間才能搞好離婚手續，另外小孩出生後如需要有任何更改，必定要在兩年內改出生証明，我老公媽媽跟前夫搞了超過兩年的離婚手續，所以我老公的出生証明也改不了了，只好証明上是非親生父的姓名。
我們在香港登記註冊時，是需要填上雙方父母姓名的，我把我老公親生爸爸的名字填上了，後來因為這個名字不是合法（不是出生証明上的），我老公煩了很久，他煩德國人的雞蛋裡挑骨頭。
婚後兩天，我們去了辦簽証了，也問了那個女的工作人員這樣會否有問題，她也說沒問題，會跟護照上的資料而已。之後老公仍是很擔心，直到我的簽証批出才放下這塊大石。
如果不想有麻煩事，我還是贊同把那個不是親生父親的合法父親名字寫上，免卻被問的麻煩。還是其實德國人都已知道自己的麻煩才ignore那個名字的問題？
基本上，你老公／婆回去德國後，便會收到辦事處電話要求見面了。見面後第二天簽証也會批出 。

Requirements for Long Term Visa 2010 Jan version
In addition to the general requirements listed above, the originals as well as 2 photocopies of the following documents (items 2-7) must be provided :
1.
Two completed application forms and

8. If you intend to stay in Germany for more than 12 months, you will be requested to provide a
Certificate of No Criminal Conviction issued by the Hong Kong Police.
This Consulate General will support your application for such a Certificate by issuing a request to the Hong Kong Police. 這個是無犯罪証明，要辦簽証後才能去灣仔警察總部申請的，到時候德使館會給你一封信的，拿著信去辦。
9. Please note that now a new German law is in effect which requires that any person wishing to join his/her spouse to reside in Germany should have attained
a certain level of German language proficiency before he/she is issued with a visa. As of October 8th 2007, the minimum German language level required is at
Level A1 under the European Framework of Reference for Languages.
